Our space is a large ranch of 25 acres in the Western end of Santa Monica Mountains. We are a working creative community ranch with lots of different spaces with different looks. The focus is the natural environment with some structures, all of the main property locations are outside. If you are looking for scenery with no visible buildings ,with the classic Southern California mountains look, we have it. Oak trees, sycamore trees, hills, big boulders, dirt roads, seasonal creeks and mountain vistas. Some of our areas: Wooded hilly areas around creek beds filled with Oaks, Sycamore Dirt and gravel roads Trails, paths thru the woods and open areas Garden w/two ponds, one tropical, one Japanese style koi pond A sweeping beautiful meadow with giant oaks trees, w/firepit Seasonal creek, full of rocks. Large boulders Big and small wood bridges Open meadow with mountain backdrop Small wooden stages in the woods An Eclectic rustic outdoor area with a yurt(exterior only) and Safari tent (interior and exterior) Also an authentic Foxhole set. Approximately 20' x10'x 4'deep A giant stilt tree branch platform. We've added the property next door for interior/exterior shooting. There's a handmade abandoned whimsical troll cottage for interior/exterior shooting , as well as a Rustic Elephant barn/shed for interior and exterior shots. Other detailed listings for "Rustic Buildings-Troll Cottage & Elephant Barn", for ideas For production , we have a converted trailer with power, A/C, counters, seating, mirrors, clothes rack, outdoor area. Located in the parking lot, for use as base camp and Hair & Makeup There's a bathroom in the building adjacent and a bathroom in the middle of the property also. A portapotty is available at the cottage/barn property. There is also a large screened pop with either A/C, fan or heat depending on the weather. Power & light. It comes with table & folding chairs. It can be used for production office, make up, holding area as you need middle of the property. Can set up at the other property as well. We have power at the rustic trailer( center of the property). Internet is there and also down in the main parking lot/basecamp The phone service is spotty, even if you have Verizon. Your best is Wifi calling connected to our internet. The back meadow and areas farther from the front have some access to power but likely need generator. We have two Kawasaki Mule ATV vehicles to rent for moving gear around. There are also 2 Honda generators, 2000watts and 2200watts. Jimmy jib 18' for rent also There's a huge parking lot in the front area, 30 cars. There's also parking in the back(10 cars) and access and parking to the middle areas. We ask that people carpool, but we also have overflow parking on the property in front of us. Big box trucks can only get to the parking lot. Further back we have low trees and power lines, 13 1/2ft can make it. The smaller box truck and high vans can make it to the back . We're 20 mins from 101 Freeway on a private/public road. The last 2 miles of the road are private and the road is one and half lanes wide. We must respect the neighbors that use the road. There are pull out spots, for when 2 cars meet. Please be nice and back into or pull out to the side when you can. And drive slowly as there are animals on the road too. besides the scenery is beautiful! We are in the Secondary Studio Zone
