Spacious white cape cod/modern farmhouse/ Americana-style home with a lake just footsteps away in our charming Malibou Lake community. Most all of the interior walls are white and the main living room has high shiplap ceilings. It’s a two-story home with an attic and a large basement. On one side is an outdoor area with a portable firepit and the opposite side has a detached studio that is currently being used as a workshop but can be used for photos and filming as well. The backyard is terraced and green with many trees and flowers on the hill (It is naturally much more lush in the spring and summer than in the winter). There is also a gazebo on the top of the hill and a stone dining set with large oak trees in the background. This house can look like an east coast lake house, a southern modern farmhouse, a bayou down by the dock, or whatever else you can imagine! It is full of charm and character. Our location is still considered within the Los Angeles County line even though it looks like a place hours away from the city. This is why there have been multiple photo and film shoots in our neighborhood over the years including many classic films dating back as far as the 1930's. Please let us know if you actually need to get into the lake since that would require permission from our board of directors and we would need to pay someone to be on-site for the day. Productions with 9 or less people and 6 vehicles will not require an on-site rep. We also have canoes, a kayak, paddleboards, surfboards, a rowboat, and a pontoon boat that can be used for a minimal charge. We would love to share our home for future films and photoshoots!

*Photos were taken during the spring and summer. Please note that late fall and winter (late November to February), the leaves are more sparse on the trees and the scenery is less green overall. It is still beautiful, but it won't look the same as the photos. Also, the water level is lower around September/October and returns to normal around November.
