If you are looking for a cozy space to host a dinner/ get together in Brooklyn,NY this is THE PLACE to book! I Hosted my 28th birthday dinner here and I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The host communicated with me throughout the entire process of booking, days before the event, and during the time I was in the space. He made sure my attendees and I were comfortable and was available if we needed anything. The space was nicely decorated, the kitchen was spotless, and the building had rooftop access which was a plus! Hemza thank you so much for welcoming my attendees and I into your space. We had such a great time here.

Pros and Cons of Having a Baby Shower in Virginia Beach

  • Family-friendly attractions
The entire family can find something enjoyable in Virginia Beach. From museums, parks, to entertainment, there are lots of activities to do in this small town.

  • Relaxed environment
Beach cities tend to have a much more casual environment compared to cities with skyscrapers and roaring streets.

  • Mild traffic
Traffic is pretty smooth throughout the city, as long as it’s not in the dense urban area during traffic hours.

  • Warm average temperature
The average temperatures in Virginia Beach are usually above 50 degrees with the warmest months in late summer with highs in the 90s.

Disadvantages

  • Crime
The crime rate in Virginia Beach is higher than the national average but has been decreasing in recent years. It’s important to stay alert at all times regardless.

  • Military city
There are always active duty military members moving to and from the city because of the military’s constant shift of employment at bases across the country, so it can be difficult to make permanent friends.

  • Loud
The military’s naval air base is nearby so the sound of constant military-duty planes taking off and landing could be bothersome.

  • Higher cost of living
Because the city ranks higher than average in cost of living (like most beach towns), amenities and services can be slightly higher than average.

  • Flooding
Although it’s not always flooding, many residents report the inconvenience of the floods throughout several times of the year–-so it’s important to be mindful of the weather when planning your baby shower.
