Horst is a responsive host and explained the studio well. Environmental concerns were pointed out - the dog shelter nearby for example example which did give us periodic waves of barking and the car noises. I asked my cameraman about this review and he cited the rule about having to put everything back in the place it was found as a hinderance when the time is paid for. There is reasonable order verses carelessness. Upon arrival, when I saw a couple of spots looking at the table cloths I took photos in case we were blamed but it could be argued that the photo could have been taken at the start or the end. There is nothing to be done about the location other than stating before the first visit the optimal trip plan, subway station, bus number north, which are details I learned once already there and after taking a longer route. I could have asked but the less mystery the better. Eyes can glaze over looking at a lot or rules and policies, like signing a lease. Add-ons that bump up the price after the fact should be verboten. Taxes I get, but insurance or clean up fees should be built into the posted asking cost. Interesting that we enter one end of the structure and walk the entire length of the building to the unit when especially after dark we might find the loading door propped unattended because someone else is also bringing something in or wheeling it out. Also not much can be done about a second floor unit with no elevator. We managed but I might have been naïve about that just because I made the climb. I'll paraphrase one of my actresses who said the long walk through the building was like a, "fun house." The space itself was fine.

How to Plan a Wedding Shower in Boston

Planning a wedding shower can be stressful because this party is usually thrown about two or three months before the wedding. As if you don't have enough on your plate, right? Well, you can make the planning process so much easier by following some important tips.

Match the Theme to the Wedding – It's a good idea to try to match the wedding shower theme to that of the wedding day so that it's cohesive and easier to plan because you'll use the same color scheme/decor and style (such as casual or formal). Choose a striking venue from Giggster's 67 memorable venues that complement that of the wedding.

Run the Guest List Past the Wedding Couple – If you're not the one getting married, you should always check in with the wedding couple about who they want to invite. Their family members and closest friends should always be invited, but they might want to keep the bash really small and intimate.

Play Wedding Shower Games – It's fun to entertain guests and the couple with interesting and enjoyable wedding shower games, like couple trivia. It's a great way for all the party guests to get to know the couple even more and have fun together.

Include the Couple's Food Preferences in the Menu – Since the party is meant to celebrate the couple and their relationship, you should choose menu options based on the foods they like. Or, be creative and choose recipes that are special or meaningful to them.

How to Save Money on Your Wedding Shower in Boston

When you're organizing a wedding shower, the last thing you want is to have lots of expenses, especially because planning a wedding is expensive enough!

Choose minimalist decor.

You don't have to invest in lots of decor to make the space look fantastic. A few statement pieces will keep the decor classy and highlight your theme, so hang balloons or make your own floral centerpieces that don't cost a lot of money.

Get creative with mocktails.

Serving non-alcoholic drinks can save you a lot of money, plus you can get creative with mixing up different refreshing beverages. If you know some guests will be disappointed at no booze being available, ask them to bring their own favorite cocktails.

Organize food party favors.

When deciding on a "thank you" gift for guests attending the event, keep them affordable by focusing on food. The party favor could be a slice of cake, homemade jam, or macarons made from a decades-old family recipe. Delicious and sentimental!
