About the Space

Our home is a beautiful Victorian farmhouse built in 1878. It is grand with plenty of character and beautifully designed by its French owners. The yard is large and varied featuring an original stonewall and fireplace. There are over 30 trees on the property including 10 century old maples and pines. The front porch will be renovated in May 2022 and the house exterior will be repainted in July 2022. We have a beautiful Lacy hammock hanging in the same place one was 140 years ago. We have a farmhouse style kitchen with a wood burning stove. A working fireplace in the first living room with a large and comfortable sectional. The master suite is very large and peaceful with breathtaking views. The bathroom was recently renovated mixing the old and the new. Across the bathroom and through the accent wall hallway, you will find a new and luxurious 6 person sauna with a window offering a peaceful and bucolic view of the yard and the chickens. In the summer time, you will have use of the huge heated salt water swimming pool.It offers a water slide, fountains and plenty of room to room to lay your towel on the patio or in the grass. You can have access to a small portion of the woods in the backyard.
