The space itself was amazing, except for the pole in the middle of the space which made it hard to make eye contact with some of the seminars students.
The primary issue that I have is that they require you to sign a contract for the space in which many of the aspects (notably the cancellation policy) were at odds with the this open space policy leaving me concerned if an issue arouse.
Other issues I experienced were all with Christopher, the onsite manager. First I had shown him a picture of what I wanted from the space from the this open space listing and said to him "this is exactly what I want" he said they could do that. I took that to mean that it would be set up just like the picture, including the table cloths. Though Karen shows pictures of tables with table cloths in the listing they do not provide any coverings for the tables. When I went to see the space I also asked Christopher if the projector came with the space which he said that it did. When I arrived the screen was set up though the projector was not and he said that it was extra and that he never said it was included. The seminar I put on here was on deception detection (I have a Ph.D. in psychology and am a former military intelligence officer) and I noticed 2 indicators of deception when Christopher said this to me (postural rigidity and a gestural retreat), which only indicates that there was a high probability of deception, it does not guarantee there was deception. After this Christopher said that I should just pay on site outside of this open space. I refused to do that and a person who was taking my seminar who was there said to me "it felt like a shakedown" what Christopher was doing.
Christopher also got aggressive with me as well at one point saying "ok fine let's do this" and took a step towards me making me initially think he was going to hit me. That was not the case and beyond that, he never showed any physical aggression towards me, though he was verbally aggressive towards me to the point where I said it was fine if we were no longer allowed to use the space and I would just leave. After saying that I did not see Christopher again. Christopher said I “made the assumption” that the projector and table clothes were included and that was my fault taken from what he said.
Overall it’s a convenient site to get to, that is beautiful and well maintained though I will not be using it again due to the above-stated reasons.

This event space is even better than advertised! Making the arrangement with Karen and organizing the booking was extremely easy!
She responded fast!
Definitely will book the space again!
The space was exactly as advertised, perhaps even nicer! Lots of space for our group of 40 to do a course, with room to break-out as needed. Lots of natural light, and room for us to set-up a lunch.
Karen was a breeze to book with, and the staff on duty were very helpful.
I recommend booking this space!
