About

I am lucky enough to be working with a production team that has had experience in the film industry for 10+ years now. My crew is trusted by many, small in size, and have worked together on countless projects. The Director, Dp, and Producer have made great names for themselves and much of their industry has been a success. As a student, actor, and writer, I am always willing to learn and I feel blessed and excited to be on set with this team. I will be graduating with a MFA degree in September and this is my final project. I have put a in lot of good energy, hard work, and organization towards this film. :New York Film Academy has provided us with insurance.

Very nice renters, but as in my previous review, they attempted to stay later than their scheduled time and attempted to convince me that their rental ended at 9 instead of 8. A few crew members became a bit argumentative. Main renters were apologetic and I would gladly rent to them again, but would make sure to have a better understanding beforehand.

Overall, the people who booked us were very nice. We did have a few problems with their crew - they were somehow under the impression that they booked an hour later than they actually booked and when we reminded them of their rental end time, a few of them caught an attitude with us. They booked until 8pm, however their intention was clearly to shoot as long as they wanted, regardless of their end time. By 7:35 they still have a full crew and still shooting takes until we finally had to shut them down. They ended up staying a half hour late. Their load out was also very sloppy and (despite our house rules stating that equipment cannot be staged in our building's common area) they kept trying to place their equipment in front of other condo's front doors. The main renters were very apologetic, but the thing is this: if you run out of time, just book another day. It's unnecessary and unprofessional for a crew to catch an attitude, or act as though they're entitled to our space for as long as they want. I would rent to them again, but I would make sure that there was a very clear understanding of what their end times were and what time they needed to begin their cleanup process.
