Cindy may be the BEST host I've EVER worked with! Not only is she professional, communicative, she's also friendly, gracious, and a joy to work with. She consistently goes above and beyond to ensure that the cast & crew are comfortable and have everything they need to have a successful shoot. She comes very prepared – need extra furnipads or mats? She's got some. Forgot extra folding tables – she'll bust one out from her garage. Crew coffee cold? She'll make you a cup from her personal stash. It's clear she's got a lot of experience hosting photo and video shoots at her house – but she's not jaded or skeptical about it at all - she enjoys the experience. She's a people person who enjoys participating in the creative and logistics process. I mentioned to Cindy a tree in the front yard that looked "too California" for our shoot – you know what she did? She called the gardener right then and there and had it removed - wow!. She even rode around with me to help me find crew parking - who does that? Only Cindy :) Honestly, at the end of our shoot, she had basically become part of our crew. Our client even mentioned to me that it was the best hospitality they'd ever experienced by a home owner - and they are eager to come back in the future.
Also - the house is beautiful and great for filming. Neighborhood is low key and quiet. If you're especially looking for a house or neighborhood that looks like "anywhere USA" then this is the house for you. There's also great food options nearby. Highly recommend Cindy and her beautiful home. I'll be coming back in the future for sure.
Cindy was an amazing host for our shoot, very happy to work with her. She was very upfront about keeping a small footprint since it is a quiet residential neighborhood. We had no problems respecting the space and would happily come back for future projects.
