From the Commissioner of Student Affairs at Sacramento City College to Co- Slammaster of the Sac Unified Poetry Slam, he is invested in producing high quality accessible events that reverberate international recognition. Typically you’ll see Marques in a professional setting, yet outside of the 9-5 he is a husband, father, internationally ranked poet, youth mentor and frontman of the anthem rock band Blaquelisted.
