Some of the biggest recording artists in the world recored Music at Xcel Studios. Including Tupac, Prince, New Kinds On The Block, Mick Jagger among others. The studio cut one of the biggest Gospel records in history, “The Rough Side of the Mountain,” by Reverends Barnes and Brown, which was No. 1 for a year and a half. In one week in 1989, The Studio had a record in every Billboard chart, including Country/ Western-a feat without precedent, nor has it been repeated. (The Billboard article said 17 records on 14 charts in Billboard surveys.) The Studio “A” room captured in these photos was the first to grace the cover of Mix magazine, a premier publication of the recording industry.

Aris’ hospitality was phenomenal. The venue is well represented by the photos on the listing, it is clean and spacious. I plan on reusing this venue for several upcoming events and would suggest you do the same! I would leave 10 stars if I could.
Everything we needed for our music video production. Staff extremely polite and helpful with any of our needs.
Our event was a 15th birthday cosplay party. The venue was perfect and the venue hosts were very accommodating of our needs. Our daughter and her friends had an amazing time. We will definitely use them again.
The space was amazing! The owner super responsive prior to the event! However, the day of the event, the owner was overly involved/posing as helpful (i.e. watching for entrance time, number of guests, etc.). As renters, I think we are always looking for who is relaxed before AND the day of the event. The rating is mostly based on the space.
Good location and facility. Highly recommended.
