Hi we are Canarts Media, a boutique production company in Toronto's Dundas Square neighbourhood. We love to share our beautiful Studio space with other creative people in the city. We invite you to come for a viewing and see if our studio works for your next project or event.
The space was great but had a few things that made running an event quite inconvenient.
My booking time was 10 and I wasn’t let into the building until after 10:30 when my even was already supposed to start.
The door of the building stays locked, so although we tried to prop it open so that guests can enter or re-enter if they have to step out, the elevator operator closes it, as he said it was for safety reasons. So, I got locked out of my own event at one point.
We also weren’t aware of the unit # beforehand, so we didn’t know where to go in the building or given contact info for when we arrived. So I had to login to this account to contact the owner. We also weren’t aware that the elevator doesn’t work before 11:30am, so all of our guests had to carry everything, including a big fold out table, up 4 flights of steps to set up. We were super tired.
The owner was nice and the venue was as pictured but knowing these minor details when someone confirms their booking would be extremely helpful.
Other than the mishaps, I would recommend the actual space if they improve on these things :)
The studio space was very clean, spacious and looks exactly as shown in the photos. The location is also great as it’s located right in the heart of downtown Toronto! Efrain was easy to communicate with and accommodating to his clients. I had a great experience using this space.
Great space! We used it for our fantasy football draft and had a great time. It came exactly as advertised. Whenever I had a question leading up to or during the day, Efrain was quick to respond. I would definitely recommend this space.
This space is absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean and modern. It was perfect for my small birthday gathering. Definitely recommend booking. The hosts are very responsive and helpful.
