I instantly fell in love with the area, as the drive down the backroads of Sonoma County and the AVA of the Russian River Valley felt like I was driving through the Burgundy Region of France.
As soon as the gate opened, I was sold and I knew that this would be my happy place. The 6 acres are so picturesque with many of natures wonderments co-existing with the beauty of the two separate homes on the property. The temperature for most of the year is moderate and summertime never becomes unbearable as there is always a breeze flowing through from the Pacific coastline.
The namesake Zegarra is my grandmother's Peruvian family name and she always loved animals, the countryside, an exceptional glass of wine and a whole lot of fun was always on the agenda, very much like any day at our Estate.

We booked the Zegarra Estate for a photoshoot last minute after another space had left us hanging and couldn't have been happier with that accidental turn of events.
Vanessa is a wonderful host and we were able to have a call with her prior to the shoot to go over our needs and what she had available we could use.
The grounds and home are beautiful. We could have stayed and shot for days and still found new spaces to capture!
