Pro's: It's a cool space. Very unique looking and definitely great for a small party, a birthday with friends, or a karaoke night. The Owner was very kind, communicative, and understanding to our needs and financial situation.
con's: it is significantly smaller than the pictures make it seem. I've rented a lot of spaces on giggster that were deceptively small, but this took the cake. And I feel it's grossly over priced due to it's size. If your filming anything; expect to be standing on top of your equipment. I also personally feel a $200 cleaning fee is absurd. He refunded $75 of it, which was appreciated, but he did it b/c the place was *clean*. Some small furniture pieces like a trunk and a guitar needed to be moved back to its correct position, but otherwise it was clean. So we were essentially charged $125 to do a walk-through.
The Underground Speakeasy and Wine Cellar was truly an amazing experience. I booked this venue for my girlfriends 30th birthday and from start to finish Nick and his team were absolutely amazing! They communicated well and truly had our best interest at heart. All of our guest loved the venue and its beautiful atmosphere. We will definitely be booking another event with Nick in the near future!
