In her 27 years in the dating industry, celebrity matchmaker Carmelia Ray has worked with over 8,000 matchmaking clients and has had more than 65,000 conversations with singles worldwide. In 2018, Carmelia was voted Best Dating Coach at the annual iDate Conference and is a finalist of the 2020 awards in the same category.
Carmelia is the host and associate producer of her own dating show produced by GoButtonMedia and broadcast in over 85 countries. Mom vs Matchmaker is an award winning Reality TV dating show, now in it's 4th season airing on OUTTV, Canada. She has worked alongside dozens of matchmaking agencies, dating experts, online dating sites and dating start-ups. She provides singles with important resources they need to navigate the dating scene. In partnership with dating companies and media outlets, Carmelia shares her insights on the business of love. She is also the Chief Matchmaker of Censio, a premiere AI Matchmaking App based in LA, and advises multiple dating apps and start-ups across North America.
Carmelia is launching a Matchmaking Academy in 2020 to certify and train new and existing matchmakers in the industry. The academy will focus on the entire business cycle of matchmaking to help singles find love.
