Nice, bright, clean, spacious & well equipped space. Very accommodating & helpful hosts. There's a pleasant area to rest, washroom, coffee.
The entrance is a bit dodgy, off the alley. But it's actually kind of cool. And in spite of the busy traffic & construction nearby, the thick walls prevent pretty much any of this from intruding.
The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that the hard, plain walls, ceiling & floor make sound recording very echo-y. We were using a combination of lav mic and Rode shotgun placed close, on separate tracks. We surrounded our interview subject on 3 sides with furniture blankets suspended on C-stands and that helped a lot. But it's worth mentioning. Otherwise, a really great space in a central location.
Absolutely fantastic space. Significantly bigger than I expected based on the pictures, with some really amazing natural light and clean white walls. Paige let me in and was super helpful, easy to deal with, and accommodating (I needed some help getting things down the stairs.) They also had rolling racks ready for my product which was just so kind.
The space is still open but feels divided really nicely into two areas with an easy flow, it felt very calm and super easy to work with. Will absolutely book this place again, the rates are fantastic for what you're getting and excited to have something this accessible in Mt. Pleasant. Thank you so much!
