This is a fantastic location and it's hard to believe it exists right here in the LA area. Lots of great looks to be had, just be careful as it's old and (as you'll learn on your scout) fragile in places. The owner is also very pleasant to work with, definitely take some time to get to know him if he's up for it. That said, please keep in mind that this is also a very expensive location. It runs through a traditional location service which will increase costs exponentially vs other locations where you work with the owner directly. This set up works well enough, just be prepared for that reality budget-wise.

This stone-walled property has the look and feel of a 16th century monastery. Features includes an abbey, chapel, cellar, and dungeon. Inside the abbey the interiors are decorated with a variety of scavenged relics and collected treasures. Antique furniture and old musical instruments are scattered throughout, and ornate window fixtures makes this place the holy grail of ceremonious locations. Old tile and gigantic spaces/hallways make for incredible acoustics. Monks not included. Minimum Daily Rate that is shown is based on a non-commercial still shoot with a crew/talent size of 15 or less @ a 10 hour day. Any projects past 8pm require a hotel stipend for the homeowners. Incredibly beautiful location! The owner was great to work with and allowed us to have a very productive film shoot. Highly recommend it !
