About the Space
Step back in time with this turn of the century shotgun house. Inside it is filled with treasures collected over the last 300 years, and from all over the world. It is dark, moody, maximalist, Victorian. When you open the door you are greeted by southern gothic decor. Antique taxidermy abounds, little devils sit on every shelf. Is it haunted? It is always the perfect time of the evening, no matter what the sun is doing. This is truly a dark Victorian dream.

This is such a unique space, it’s special just to see a collection as well put-together and personal as this location, and it makes for an amazing place for a photoshoot. Richard-Lael is incredibly welcoming and does a great job communicating. It was super cool hearing the history on some of the pieces. I cannot recommend his place enough, it’s a not-to-miss opportunity if you are in New Orleans.
