Authentic old Queens apartment preserved in near original condition, offering a timeless, cinematic atmosphere. This first floor unit features 6 rooms, four of which are adorned with vintage wallpaper, including one bedroom and one full bathroom with original baby blue tile. A private backyard includes concrete checkered brickwork and a large rose bush that blossoms twice through the warmer seasons. All windows feature vintage lace curtains. Three bay windows illuminate the front room with natural light. An original light well connects the two central rooms - the dining room and the second living room - creating unique visual depth. Original antique light fixtures and curated vintage lamps remain throughout the apartment. The kitchen features original wood cabinetry, wood paneling, and vintage laminate countertops, suitable for period or character driven productions. One corded land line phone is still installed, though not functioning. Located on the first floor with only five steps for entry, allowing for easy equipment load-in and load-out. The space is richly textured and thoughtfully curated with love and intention. Ideal for projects seeking themes of nostalgia, femininity, fairytale, Americana, or artist-driven environments. LIGHTING NOTE: The building is quite old, as is its electrical system. As a result, the use of certain lighting equipment and higher-powered devices (such as hair dryers and steamers) will overload the system.
