About the Space

This one-of-a-kind Queens apartment is a vintage lover's dream come true. This first-floor unit features six distinct rooms, each with its own sense of character. Vintage wallpaper, antique light fixtures, and wood paneling adorn every corner of the apartment, which is located at the border of the Ridgewood and Glendale neighborhoods. Three bay windows welcome beautiful morning light into the street-facing living room, freshly painted a muted baby blue. The vintage yellow floral couch is the room’s centerpiece, second to the Emerson piano (though it could use a tune up!). The living room opens into the dining area that includes a seven-seat round wood butcher-style table alongside an antique dark-wood hutch, the walls covered in found treasures and art. An original “light well” connects the dining room to the pink-dream dressing room where the luscious pink Victorian style couch sits. The kitchen features vintage yellow lotus flower wallpaper, original wood cabinetry and wall paneling, unique laminate countertops, and a porcelain sink. Best of all is the corded landline telephone, but it unfortunately doesn’t operate. Sunsets illuminate the kitchen during warmer months, which looks out to the private backyard. It features a deep blue patio besides yellow-and-red concrete checkered brickwork. Decades-old pink-and-purple rose bushes blossom twice through the summer, growing alongside vintage-wrought iron patio furniture with rose detailing. Two Adirondack chairs are another available seating option. Wildflowers, vines, and other greenery surround the garden. The space is richly textured and thoughtfully curated with love and intention. It’s ideal for projects seeking themes of nostalgia, femininity, fairytale, Americana, or artist-driven environments. The front door is only five steps off the sidewalk, making equipment on- and offloading a breeze. All furniture may be used for your filming purposes. Please specify in your request whether or not you need furniture to be moved, as not all of the pieces can be. This apartment is accessible via the Halsey L (20 min walk) and Fresh Pond M (15 min walk) as well as several buses (B13 and Q55). The previous tenant moved into this apartment in 1955 and maintained its original features throughout the decades. In 2024, I moved in and have been pouring my heart into restoring, cleansing and reenergizing this space ever since. I’ve collected vintage and antique furniture and artwork forever, so when I found this apartment, I was so excited to add to its magic. It has been a labor of love to bring a new energy back into this space I call home. I’ve considered all of these unique elements to come up with my pricing. However, if my rates are out of your range but my space matches your creative dreams then I will do my best to help you out! I can’t wait to work with you! xoxo, Bailey

We loved shooting at Bailey's place, it is exactly as it looks in the pictures. It is indeed a time capsule. The apartment is like a pre-built set, it is so unique in its design and really beautiful inside. The details, from the piano, to the cordless phone to the colors in the red living room. For us it couldn't have been more perfect for what we were wanting to film. Bailey was an awesome host, very responsive and helpful and was on hand during the day for any issues. She also gave us recommendations for food and drinks for throughout the day. Overall, would highly recommend this location!
