Set in a forest on the side of a mountain, the house is surrounded by mature trees. A mixed paved and gravel road leads up to the house. The house was designed by a local architecture firm and built by a local construction company. Designed to bring the outside in, the house has large expansive windows throughout, bark on walls, and a large 2 story deck. Wildlife includes deer, turkey, squirrels, coyotes, birds, and even a bear (once😀).
