About the Space Welcome to my creative haven, where art and functionality collide! As a full-time visual artist, I create immersive environments crafted entirely from hand-painted and sewn materials. After spending 17 years in California, I’ve returned to NYC, where I’ve transformed this space into an all-encompassing art installation. My studio has become a popular destination for video and photo shoots, hosting clients such as Jhene Aiko, Weedmaps, Remi Wolf, and Desert Hearts, particularly for music videos and artistic projects. This unique studio not only serves as my workspace but is also well-suited for sound baths, meditation sessions, and intimate gatherings. The installation features movable walls on tracking, allowing for dynamic layouts and abundant natural light from four windows, one of which offers a stunning view of Manhattan. The atmosphere is further enhanced in the evenings with handmade lanterns that glow in various colors, creating a magical ambiance. Neighborhood Details Conveniently located just a few blocks from the Jefferson St. L stop, my studio sits at the vibrant Bushwick/Ridgewood border, an area known for its creative energy and industrial charm. You'll find plenty of street parking available, with easy access almost any time (except during street cleaning hours). The neighborhood is teeming with trendy cafés, diverse restaurants, and boutique shops, giving guests a taste of the local culture. Logistics The main area of the studio is approximately 15 feet wide by 30 feet long, providing an immersive space filled with unique artistic features. While I have a few seating options available, you're welcome to bring your own for added comfort. The studio also includes a small side area with a fridge and kitchenette for your convenience. For ease of access, there’s a freight elevator. I want to maintain the personal touch of this space, so either a team member or I will be present at all bookings to ensure everything runs smoothly. Special Rates To celebrate the launch of my space for bookings, I’m currently offering introduction rates starting at just $120 an hour. Additionally, I offer discounts for bookings of 8 hours or more, so keep that in mind when planning your booking!
