A dream location for photo and film production. The mansion originally built for an oysterman and his family is an outstanding testament to the past, and most importantly, a resplendent and vibrant space for creatives. The Mansion is an immersive, ever-evolving, multi sensory wonder that was built in 1853 and currently is one of the last surviving houses looking out on to the North Shore waterfront in Staten Island. The house boasts over 5000 sq ft, four levels, 12 rooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and a roof level cupola. The Mansion is a unique synergy of Italianate, Moorish, Gothic, and Palatial kitsch elements, with an eclectic- formal, yet fun collection of art and artifacts. There's many different rooms that each showcase their own unique vibe and can set the mood for many different storylines. This location offers an abundance of natural light and a wide variety of different spaces to match and enhance your creative vision. This location draws much attention due to it's vintage eclectic decor, and the collection of antique and rare props. All props may be used at no additional costs. As seen on the covers of W and British Vogue, to live performances from the RZA of the Wu-Tang; the Mansion is an immersive location allowing clients to immerse themselves in the vibe until they are fully absorbed by it. Enter a flow state in which you lose track of time and self as your attention focuses entirely on the activity that is underway. Film and Video productions (as opposed to still photography) have an additional fee of +$150/hour (i.e. $350/hr (base) + $150/hr (film surcharge)) = $500/hr for film and video projects. This surcharge is due to the need for multiple scouts, heavier footprint, wear & tear, and EQ associated with these shoots. Additional costs: - 1x $350 Site Rep Fee - 1x $200 Cleaning Fee We require all bookings to put down a Security Deposit (3x hourly fee). This Security Deposit will be returned to your account within 5-10 business days assuming no damages occurred during your shoot. The hourly base rate increases as your head count increases. Someone from our team will be on site with you for the duration of the shoot to orient you in the space and also to verify head count and that all rules are followed. We have a 8 hour minimum, if you book for 6 hours you will be charged for 8 hours. If you book for 6 hours, you must still let us know if your schedule shifts. The safest way to plan to avoid overages like OT is to simply schedule yourself for the full 8 hours even if you do not anticipate needing the full amount of time. Large impact network/commercial filming will require a customized fee schedule. We do not accommodate discounts and cannot be flexible with minimum hours. You cannot book this location for a few hours. A certificate of insurance is required of all productions. Upon booking this location it's required to sign a Location Agreement. Absence of a signed Location Agreement can lead to the host canceling the booking.
