About the Space

This Museum is located in the heart of the industrial district of Long Island City. LAYOUT The building consists of one large, central gallery and four smaller, surrounding galleries. There are two bathrooms and a small kitchen. The entryway is made up of two separate vestibules, each featuring a permanently installed large work of art. In one of the surrounding galleries, there is a large vault door that leads to a long, narrow, and well-lit storage space that can be cleared for additional use. There is a large sculpture in front of the building that cannot be moved for short-term projects. FEATURES The Museum is home to several works of fine art, both on display and available in storage. If what is currently on display does not match the project's vision, replacements can be temporarily installed for the duration of the project (within reason). An integrated Sonos system is installed in all of the galleries. A baby grand piano in good condition is available for use. All rooms are equipped with multiple different lighting options, including traditional fluorescent lighting as well as dimmable spotlights and/or recessed lights. SERVICES The Museum can provide - on request and for extra cost - catalog and brochure design/writing/production, catering services including bartending, photography and videography, sound equipment, and various table and chair options. Any furniture seen in the available photos can be removed or made available.
