About the Space
The estate, named Barbazan is located in the southwest of France, Gascony. It was built around 1850 and comes with 14 hectares of land: 10 hectares of grasland and gardens, and 4 hectares of oak forest. The people who built the house were wine growers and self-sufficient farmers. Thus, on the farm there are a winery, two barns, a horse stable, a chicken coop, an old bakery and several gardens. The house has hardly been renovated until today and offers many places that invite to time travel. Many objects, furniture, tools and farm machinery preserved and present everywhere on the farm. You can see and feel the spirit life of southern French farmers. The landscape around the estate is vast and pristine. There are views without a trace of civilization. Barbazan is a quiet and unspoiled place, with many signs of life between man and nature.
