About the Space

Our space is a unique and versatile former firehouse with two spaces available for rental: a 1,900 sq ft main exhibition space or its 1,600 sq ft lower level project space. Whether you are planning a public or private event, and whether you are interested in the main floor or lower level, It is an ideal site for receptions, fashion shows, film shoots, screenings, photo shoots, theater or dance performances, rehearsals, live music, and sound art, artists talks, lectures and panels, and much more… - Located in East Harlem near the 125th Street express stop on the 4 and 5 trains - The Main Exhibition Space is 1,900 sq ft, has a capacity of 150 – 200 people (which varies depending on the setup of the event) and is perfect for large gatherings. The ceilings are 12'+ tall with 200' of linear wall space. The gallery space is approximately 100' x 12'. - The Lower Level Exhibition Space is 1,600 sq ft, has a capacity of 120-160 people and is perfect for smaller, more intimate gatherings. - Equipment: Audio and video equipment availability upon request.
