About the Space
Welcome to 10 acres of undisturbed natural beauty! We are located at the border of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, within the Los Angeles 30-mile studio zone TMZ, only 5 miles from the 101 freeway and Westlake Village, 12 miles to El Matador State Beach (Malibu) and Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH). All Bookings Include: • 300-degree year-round dark green to lighter green mountain views in a quiet canyon • Dirt roads, paths, and trails • Spacious flat areas and the pictured brick section with drive-up access to all pictured locations • Native plants, multiple mature oak trees, and fallen logs • Rustic wooden hillside stairs • Natural rock formations • Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and amazing natural light • High-speed Wi-Fi • One basic porta-potty • Private use of lower property outdoor areas (excludes pool and house areas) • Parking onsite for 30 cars/trucks and a large motorhome if desired • Onsite weather station: www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/KCAWESTL52 Add-Ons: • Site/Ranch Rep (only required for weekday bookings) $25/hour • Wardrobe & Makeup/Talent 10x10 building with lights $200/flat fee • Standard house electrical power (without wardrobe/makeup/talent space) $25/hour • The exterior of the house and the pool deck are available for an additional fee $ask • Permitting agency, Ventura County https://vcrma.org/film-permits Yes, you are welcome to scout! We had a great time shooting at the ranch - Jen was incredibly easy to communicate with and she was very accommodating of changes. I felt very comfortable in the whole process of arranging our shoot! Jen provided directions and information on how to get to the ranch, and it was very easy to shoot there when we arrived. I have already recommended this place to people to shoot in the future and I would happily come back here to shoot again.

Would highly recommend this space. Such a beautiful view and Jen was so helpful. This was a much more practical way to shot a hiking scene rather than hiking deep into a trail somewhere with no facilities- we had a basecamp, parking, and bathroom just steps away from where we were shooting. Would love to come back!
