Our place is an old hosiery mill converted into apartments. We have an open living room/kitchen-diner, with huge windows and exposed brick across two walls. 4m ceilings meant that we opted for a floor to ceiling book case with a sliding ladder. Long kitchen bar has split steel and concrete worktop, live edge oak dining table and a large L-shaped green velvet sofa.
