Unique Victorian inspired house minutes to vibrant downtown Roswell and Canton street, nestled in the heart of a quiet community. Across the street from a pool and tennis courts and a short stroll to a small community lake! Get ready to be whisked worlds away as you pull up to the affectionately known "gingerbread house." As you drive down our long driveway complete with landscaped flower beds be sure to spy the victorian lamppost! Stroll into the backyard which is lush with mature trees, gardens, a treehouse, and a peekaboo view of the community lake. Choose from three entry points into the home. Either walk up the long stone walkway off the front of the house to the wraparound porch with rustic rocking chairs and ornate Victorian inspired front door. Or, enter through the two car garage complete with textured concrete floor and basement area. Or, head up the set of stairs in the backyard leading to the wood deck and screened in porch overlooking the backyard. Relax and enjoy looking out into the lush backyard with mature trees. This is a very private setting to listen to the sounds of nature. You will be truly immersed, especially at night when the landscaping lights come on and the frogs croak! Once inside our home you will enjoy many unique features. On the main floor you will enjoy a massive receiving room off the entry complete with built in bookshelves, ornately carved wood mantle, and working fireplace. Our kitchen has stained glass, stainless steel appliances, and a gas stove. From there, journey out into our game room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking our lush backyard. Make a drink at the wet bar and sit by the fireplace while you are at it. After you have relaxed head down to our basement wine cellar and bar area or head out to the workshop to do some woodworking or hammering. Or, you can stroll through the main floor master complete with stained glass windows and a jet tub. Don't forget to peak into the library/music room on your way! Another option is to head upstairs. Once you get to the top of the ornately carved stairs take a quick look down from the catwalk. Then, head over to the master bedroom where you will find a bay window overlooking the backyard and lake, a large double shower and jet tub, wet bar, and upstairs balcony. Take a peek into the kids' bedrooms with bunkbeds and ensuite/detached bathrooms while you are at it. Lastly, stroll back over to the front of the house and check out the office with built in bookcases, a one of a kind mural, and "fandelier!" There is lots of space, tons to see, and a variety of unique and thoughtful details throughout the house. We hope you love it as much as we do!
