About the Space

Cute family home on tree lined bike route in Vancouvers East Village. Bright Hardwood floors throughout Crown Molding Gas fireplace Gas stove Claw foot bathtub South facing backyard Lots of street parking (no permits required) Great neighborhood and amazingly fun homeowners! Main floor has open space off the front door and moves into the open concept living room, kitchen, and dining room. Dining room surrounded by 6 south facing windows bringing in lots of light. Back door opens to a small deck and down some stairs to the back yard which has a trampoline, storage shed, movable basketball net, and some gardens. Main floor also has 1 bathroom with a claw foot tub. Moving up the beautiful stairs to the upper level there is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a laundry closet. There are 2 bedrooms up and 1 down, but we don’t rent out those spaces.

    Gillian was lovely and beyond accommodating. We needed to extend our shoot by an hour and she was gracious enough to let us come early, and we were able to shoot 3 scenes in under 5 hours at the same location, which made our job so much easier. The house was beautiful, clean, and there were so many aesthetic corners we could've chosen to film in (and that was just the ground floor.) Lighting is also ideal, so we shot mostly with natural light. I want to thank Gillian again for hosting us, and I highly recommend this location and would absolutely come back!

    The space is gorgeous and owner Gillian was extremely easy to work with. We booked it with very short notice and she was very accommodating. The living/kitchen space is narrow and long but it worked just fine for my 2-camera, 12-person cast/crew interview shoot. Street parking was easy to find. Highly recommend.
