The Giggster Referral Program (“Referral Program”) allows registered Giggster Users (“Giggster User”) to earn promotional credits (“Giggster Credits”) toward future bookings or payouts by referring friends to Giggster.
To participate, Giggster Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the Giggster Terms of Service. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the Giggster Terms of Service. Giggster Referral Program Terms & Conditions (“Referral Program Terms”) shall prevail over the Terms of Service in the event of a conflict with respect to the Referral Program Terms.
New Users must sign up directly from a valid custom referral link. Otherwise, they will not be tracked in our system and no credit shall be awarded to any of the parties. A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Giggster Users, only the User associated with the referral link used by the referred friend when signing up will receive referral credit.
Payouts for referring a new Host will register only if (1) the referred friend uses a valid custom referral link when registering an account on Giggster and (2) their location passes Giggster’s approval process and is published on Giggster.
The referring User will receive a $50 commission, after the new Host’s location is successfully used and their first booking is completed (and when applicable, all claims and disputes have been resolved). And the new Host will receive a $50 credit right after the registration.
Payouts for referring a new Renter will register if (1) the referred friend uses a valid custom referral link when registering an account on Giggster and (2) the referred friend books and completes their first booking via the Giggster platform.
The referring User will receive a $50 commission, after the new Renter’s first booking is completed. And the new Renter will receive a $50 credit to spend on a future booking right after the registration.
The referring Giggster User is neither required to be the Host nor the Guest on the booking made by or with the referred friend.
Giggster Credits can be redeemed via the Giggster Site and Applications. Giggster Credits are issued for promotional purposes only, and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
The applicable amount of earned credits (in the form of a Giggster Coupon) may be manually or automatically applied to your next transaction via Giggster as a direct discount to the next booking or a premium to the next payout. Giggster Coupons can be applied to bookings over or equivalent to $300 (excluding any additional charges). Additional charges include: Damage Protection, Permits, Taxes and Additional Fees added by the Host.
Giggster Credits cannot be applied to any single booking or payout in tandem with any other discount (for example with the Drive Bookings Partner Link or with a promotional code).
Giggster Credits may not be earned by creating multiple Giggster accounts. Giggster Credits accrued in separate Giggster accounts may not be combined into one account.
You can view your current referral balance on the Giggster Referral Program page, in the Payments or Payouts sections within “Account Settings” or by sending an email to hello@giggster.com. If, for any reason, you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of Giggster Credits, please contact Giggster. Giggster may require you to submit additional information in order to make a determination regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at Giggster's sole discretion.
Users are responsible for any consequences, if any, that may result from the redemption or use of Giggster Credits.
If any provision of these Referral Program Terms is held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Giggster may suspend or terminate the Referral Program or a User’s ability to participate in the Referral Program at any time, for any reason. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Giggster Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the Giggster Terms of Service or Referral Program Terms. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate. The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Giggster Credits can change at any time.
Giggster may update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these Referral Program Terms, we will post the modification on the Giggster Site and Applications, and they will then be effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Referral Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
