Robert was absolutely incredible! The boat is gorgeous, he's a lovely human, and he was above + beyond flexible with us as we coordinated the booking and went through the day. Truly cannot recommend enough for a unique experience, and I will without a doubt find an opportunity to book with Robert again!
Robert was so kind, communicative and respectful. The boat is GORGEOUS. Robert is also a photographer and helped my photographer and I get the best angles, shots, and lighting. His knowledge of photography, the boat, and the marina are invaluable. The boat and the marina provided a lot of great shots, different views/ angles. I am prone to motion sickness but the boat was big enough and steady that I did not get sick at all. I would highly recommend Robert and this boat if you have a vision on the water for your production.
What a magical sailboat! A truly perfect shooting location, the beautiful architecture of this boat offers dynamic shots. I had 24 looks to shoot and didn't feel like I had to repeat and spaces or shots. Robert is a fantastic captain and easy to work with. For my production I opted to get a permit for Burton Chace Park in Marina Del Rey and rent out the community center to use as a staging area for the shoot. We shot while the boat was docked (dock 300) for the first half of the day and then went out to the breakwater for the second half. I had a small staging area and changing tent for when we were parked at the dock. At the end of the day I had some truly amazing shots to work with!
