The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) celebrates the cultural breadth of Africa and its diaspora via the visual, literary, and performing arts, to transform people and neighborhoods near and far. Using art, education, and advocacy (cultural and artistic presentations, community conversations, creative expression, and interactive learning) as vehicles for social change, we give platform within our safe spaces to "artists" whose work honor, celebrate, advance, and expand rich, intersectional conversations about the African Diaspora, while inviting all in to explore, engage, and thrive within our collective evolution.
