Devan Francis is a freelance video producer who has a focus on branded content and sports related documentaries. He has worked across Canada on multiple projects and even one taking him to North Korea. In addition to being the cinematographer and a producer on the feature documentary, Closing The Gap: Hockey in North Korea, he recently directed two short films; one about athletes in Northern Alberta and the other about Chinese language preservation for The Asia Pacific Foundation. Devan enjoys camera work, project coordination and working with versatile teams that are collaborative. He is originally from Daegu, South Korea, but was adopted by Canadian parents and raised in Northern Alberta. He currently lives in Vancouver, B.C.
