Alissa's Culver City Architectural is hands down my #1 contemporary home to shoot in Los Angeles. The price is right, it's in fantastic shape, and is EXTREMELY production friendly. Another great bonus is while the address is in Culver City, the home is actually permitted by the city of Los Angeles! Any producers who have had to pull permits understand how this is a huge benefit, as Film LA is much easier to deal with, and affordable than the Culver City permit office.
If you have a large truck, I'd recommend getting a parking permit for out front as well. They do have a long driveway, but at least one reserved spot helps.
Great interior and hosts were easy and communicative. One major flag to consider is that this neighborhood is NOT friendly to video productions. There are NO cube trucks permitted in relation to the production. We thought we were allowed to put an art truck on a neighbors private drive-way that we rented, and we were cited for that. Absolutely NO trucks larger than a sprinter van parked anywhere near the house. The house worked great other than that specific production logistic.
We would recommend this location for filming. The host was a great communicators and everything in the home was as pictured. We would happily book here again!
