My name is Kimiko and I’ve been sewing for over 20+ years. I’ve been teaching for five years at a fabric store in Venice but there is not enough space so I only teach one on one. I’ve created period costumes, red carpet designs, hats, sportswear, wedding gowns and more. I currently work a full time job as an office assistant and I do my sewing on the weekends. One day I would love to open up a school because this is a craft that helps you gain patience, motor skills, creativity and finding solutions. This skill can be passed on to generations, you can do quick alterations, start your own company by selling your crafts and make inexpensive gifts. My goal is to show people that once you learn something you find your own confidence.
