Amazing amazing AMAZING location! super perfect for music videos, narrative projects, anything! Josh is a great host and I would genuinely recommend 10000% if you want a desert for your project!
The location worked wonderfully for us. The boulder and the desert are beautiful. Francois was very accommodating. I recommend bringing a 4x4 SUV in case any of the vehicles get stuck. The road itself is packed and drivable on a dry day, but if you go on the soft shoulder or a part less driven, you will get stuck so make sure to pack a couple of strong straps along.
