We had a fantastic experience shooting at the Historic Era Victorian - Roggenkamp House. The space is extremely spacious with multiple rooms available, each decorated with authentic, classical Victorian details that fit perfectly for period-style filming. Every corner of the house has character, and nothing feels staged—it truly preserves the original charm, which made our shots look incredible on camera.
The host, Joyce, was wonderful to work with—very kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. The backyard is large and versatile, making it ideal for additional set building or staging gear.
The only minor challenge is the distance/location, but once you arrive, you realize it’s absolutely worth it. If you're looking for a location with real historical texture, flexible shooting space, and a supportive host, I highly recommend this place.
