Sandbox Studios is an accessible, creative space to cultivate, develop, and empower Canadian artists.
The name “Sandbox” is meant to be reminiscent of how children play in sandboxes, referencing their uninhibited spirit of creativity, discovery, and expression.
We endeavour to help artists feel free to create authentically at Sandbox Studios.

The perfect space for small to medium sized productions at a very affordable rate with an amazing customer service-focused owner. Free reserved parking at the studio was a huge bonus, and the A/C and blackout curtains made for optimal filming conditions. There is a kitchenette, washroom, full length mirror, extension cord and plenty of folding chairs on site for cast/crew. Use of a fog machine was permitted after messaging the owner which not all studios allow but was crucial for my project's vision. Highly recommended and will definitely book again!!

Great space with white walls, natural lighting and free parking right in front of the studio which is super convenient to unload equipment.

The location was amazing, and was just right for what we needed it for! The cyclorama was clean, and in perfect condition. The host was great, and was super easy going. They were kind, and communicated quickly during booking & onwards.
