I co-own a music studio with producer Daniel Weidlein in Silver Lake. We record, write, and produce everything from funk-pop band albums (Stan Taylor), to solo jazz records (Greg Johnson, April Guthrie), to choral music, to musical theatre albums (Hadestown Holiday Album) here. The decor and vibe of our studio rooms is curated for love of a good space to create in –it's effectively our home office as musicians– ; everything from the fabric and color of the sound-proofed walls, to the wood-paneling, to the top-of-the-line gear, so we are very selective about our inquiries. We're happy to host all kinds of sessions in the studio, but we will thoroughly vet any prospective renter for how respectful they will be of our space.
