I hail from Cape Breton, but have lived in Toronto for 14 years. Within that time, I took part time classes at Ryerson for the photography certificate as part of the Chang School.
As part of my photography journey, I've embarked an on going project called "The Anachronist". It is a study of Edwardian portraiture in studio and without, period costume construction, set design and capturing the Edwardian way of life via snapshots, photo booths etc, through what would have been more accessible camera's, thanks to the Brownie in 1900.
When I travel, I bring my costumes, scouting out beautiful landscapes to fit the essence of what I'm trying to portray.
I photograph landscapes, people, and occasionally do the odd job, but I am an artistic photographer and a one woman band.
