The host was amazing and the house is beautiful. It’s one the biggest lots with so much outdoor space and unbelievable interior shots. The pool room is unreal. everything through out the house is in original form which is very important to us. It’s all in the details and this place has them all. from the original light switches to the amazing new vintage custom made furniture and original vintage furniture. The natural lighting is epic and gets amazing light all day which is great. The detailing on floors and walls it’s just all epic and looks amazing in our pictures. This will be a new frequent location for us. Plus the load in was super easy pulled right into the alley driveway unloaded with no stairs or hassle. There is so many different areas to shot and lots of space to move around. Classic California retro style. Huge fan.
The whole backyard of this house is a total gem - it was a gorgeous lush green right in the middle of January and provided us the exact backdrop we needed to shoot our scene. Jenn was a fabulous host and worked with us throughout the entire day. She helped solve any problem that came up so we could keep going. We couldn't ask for a better location or a better host!
This place is magical. Jen is fabulous..She worked with us every step of the way! She was very accommodating and she allowed us to pay for overtime at the last minute..That was a very stressful event and it was very emotional. My guest loved the event and they expressed her home was a photographers paradise! She is definitely who you would want to negotiate with or plan your next event with.
I threw my parents surprise 60th birthday here and Jen was such an amazing host. Her property is a secluded gem full of so much vegetation, we felt like we were in a secret garden and the pictures don’t even do it justice. Her communication and eagerness to make your event come to life is truly amazing. She is so genuine and helpful and she answered all of my questions. We bought our own tent and chairs, but she provided us 3 tables. If we need something simple, she would provide us what she could. If you’re looking to throw an event and you don’t have a venue this is such an amazing alternative if your not looking spend thousands of dollars on a banquet hall. I would book the bixby backyard over and over again just for the comfort of having Jen as a host. Thank you so much for making this special moment come to life.
