About the Space
Located on a suburban street, this mid-century traditional house, similar to Methellin Bird Houses of the late 50s, exudes charm and history in many ways. At 2500 square feet, the property is spacious enough to handle filmmaking equipment and crew, and intimate enough to aid character and relationship development. Carefully curated furnishings from 50s, 60s, 70s and current styles make this a space that can be easily transformed into any the period that your production needs. Mad Men, Boogie Nights, Virgin Suicides, etc 4 bedrooms (2 @ 15'x12' and 2 @ 12'x12') 3 baths (full, 3/4 and 1/2) - one of which has not been touched since it was built in 1961. Wallpaper and fixtures in original condition Kitchen and/or patio can be used for Craft Services, some storage areas available in garage and large closets. Flexible on furniture movement and usage, in consultation with owners. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask! Bonnie is an absolute Gem of a person, so easygoing and very helpful/willing to meet you halfway if needed. An absolute treasure chest of a location her home is, SERIOUSLY!!! It's perfect for any vintage shoot, it's furnished from set design to Props in the style, etc. You will have the best time filming here. I can not recommend this place enough. such an amazing experience.

What a wonderful experience. Bonnie, the host, was super responsive and respectful towards our productions needs. From top to bottom a smooth day of filming in a stunning time capsule that was perfect for our 60's and 70's era shoot. If you film there, be kind to her and her location, she's done well preserving a space that is accurate to the time. We need more people like her in the film community.

Bonnie, the homeowner of this location, was nothing but incredibly helpful and flexible throughout our entire process – this includes the scouting, planning, prepping and shooting. It felt more like a collaboration with the homeowner than it did just renting a home for the shoot as she shared our enthusiasm and excitement for the process. At many points she went the extra mile to help us out and show her desire to assist us in making our vision a reality. The home itself is beautifully maintained to preserve a vintage look and feel, but done with such taste and not at all overly kitschy, which can often happen within this style of interior design. It is tastefully curated with very interesting visual pieces throughout. The many different rooms and bathrooms provided so many locations both for shooting as well as areas dedicated to departments like hair/makeup and wardrobe, talent holding, etc. Also, the variety in furniture allowed so many different ways of shooting, making the house seem even larger on screen. All in all, our experience in the home and with Bonnie was nothing short of spectacular and would absolutely recommend!
