About the Space

We have a 1920's craftsman house sitting on a large corner lot with views that overlook Orange County. The inside of our home is furnished with warm colors and mid-century modern furniture. Lit with large south-facing original windows and glass doors with side lights. The living/dining room area is very open and gives the opportunity for long shots of the space. The kitchen is also very bright, lined with double hung windows. It has been updated, but still matches the charm of the house. The bathroom has also been redone with white tile work all-around. Our master bedroom is very spacious with a stone fireplace. The large slider opens up to the backyard. The bedroom also has full black out blinds - perfect for shooting day for night scenes. All of the lights in the living room, kitchen and bedroom are all Philips Hue lights that are completely dimmable. The backyard has a ton of space with multiple seating areas, ample space for crew storage, craft, and load in/out through 2 side gates. *For crews over 15, we do require a Portable Toilet be rented for a second bathroom (we can provide suggestions, typically less than $100/day) **No Permits Required** We are located in an Unincorporated neighborhood of Orange County, therefore, no permits are required to be pulled from the City of Orange! In our experience, past productions have attempted permit application through the County of Orange but have been told they are only required for productions of 200+ people, or if roads will be blocked. This house is great for a variety of productions. Perfect for commercial shoots, corporate videos, cooking shows, indie films, interviews, photoshoots, music videos, student films and much more!

    A space as pristine as in the pictures, with hosts as helpful to match! Drew’s Craftsman proved the ideal location for a recent commercial and he and his wife were both gracious and accommodating in facilitating the smooth operation of our day. A lovely home and one we would be happy to return to shoot in again. Highly recommend!
