About the Space

33 acres property established in 1885 and family-owned since, the ranch is a glimpse back into another era, and is now the home of the Dulzura Vineyard and Winery. We’ve opened up the apartment above our tasting room as a guesthouse for those who wish to spend some quality time in the country in a beautiful setting. The Guest House is the upper floor of the ‘Pickle House,’ constructed in 1906 as a kitchen to make a sweet dessert confection then known as ‘Clark’s Pickleized Figs’. You’ll be staying in what was originally a large room that housed the spices and ingredients which were gravity fed to the production kitchen below, now the winery tasting room. The ‘spice room’ was converted to an apartment in the 1940s and has been used as a guest house since. The cozy one-bedroom Guest House has full amenities and is perfect for couples looking for a relaxing getaway. Of course, a complimentary wine tasting Is included for our guests.
