About the Space
This location gives you various venues including the historic Train Station: Victorian station built in 1881 by the original Naugatuck Railroad, a warehouse size working Shop, a gift shop, an office and over 100 rolling stock of historic, vintage and more recent railcars, engines, (diesel and steam), cabooses, Speeders, maintenance rail vehicles and much more. Set in the historic Thomaston, Connecticut the track takes you on a 20-mile round trip through the Naugatuck River Valley and the Litchfield Hills. Passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery as the train glides over bridges and around curves, over the spectacular Thomaston Dam following the Naugatuck River between Thomaston north to Torrington or south to Waterbury. Other props include signals, signs, railroad equipment, vintage uniforms, blueprints, artwork, 2 Speeders, cabooses and a lot more.
