This location listing is for the expansive over 2-acre paved parking lot areas just as one enters Joshua Tree from the west, along Highway 62. The 1-acre dirt parking area also at that location can be added to the rental if desired. The paved parking lot area has entrances directly on the main highway for easy access for large vehicles. The paved area contains 110 standard spaces and has room to park semi-trucks, trailers, vans, and passenger vehicles, making it ideal for crew and equipment parking for movie/filming shoots throughout the Joshua Tree area. The adjascent dirt parking area is often used for lighter-duty crew passenger vehicle parking. Many crews set up an easy-up/shade in the parking area to serve as a COVID testing area prior to shuttling crew members from the parking area to the shoot location. Water and electricity are usually available for a separate and negotiated fee depending on what is needed. Overnight parking may be available depending on availability.
