About the Space

One block from the beach on the most beautiful walkway in Venice this ravishing beach house full of both classic and eccentric furnishings, paintings, objets d'art. A rooftop deck with a view of the beach and the Santa Monica mountains crowns the building. An antique dining room table with matching chairs leads into a salon with fireplace, luxury sofas, lamps, paintings both ancient and modern. Delicate arches frame the different spaces. A front porch with a fine sofa and reclining chair sit upon a beautiful painted floor. A "summer room" with bay window looks out onto the slightly wild garden. Open the gate and you can see the beach and the fine old houses and gardens that line the way. Up stairs there's a master bedroom with fitted cupboards an antique mirror, desk, clock and a couple of fine antique chairs sitting upon a renovated douglas fir floor. A smaller bedroom and 2 bathrooms complement the space lead up to by an old wooden staircase. An independent 2 bedroom studio adjoins the main house decorated in a more sombre style. A large 3/4 car parking lot is situated in the alley at the back of the house.
