Vancouver Special – Original Retro House

About the Space

Authentic 1970s Vancouver Special – Original Retro House Step inside an authentic, largely original 1970s Vancouver Special with vintage interiors, period finishes, and the lived-in character of a classic Vancouver family home. This approximately 2,150 sq. ft. house offers a variety of distinct rooms and retro sets for film, photography, commercials, music videos, editorial shoots, and content creation. The egg shell white kitchen features classic cabinetry and a distinctly dated residential aesthetic, making it ideal for vintage family scenes, lifestyle photography, and retro editorial work. The blue American Standard bathroom is a standout period detail, with a matching blue bathtub, blue wall tiles, and vintage bathroom fixtures—a rare, highly photogenic example of a preserved mid-century/1970s bathroom. The bedrooms retain their original residential character, with period finishes and a purple bathroom & toilet. The basement and games room offers a large space to re model as one pleases. Outside, the property includes a backyard and balcony, providing additional options for lifestyle photography, film scenes, and outdoor content, especially horror scenes. With multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, a vintage kitchen, basement, games room, office, backyard, and balcony, this authentic Vancouver Special film location offers numerous looks within one property—without the polished, renovated feel of a modern home. Ideal for 1970s productions, retro photoshoots, vintage commercials, period-inspired film, music videos, editorial photography, lifestyle content, and authentic Vancouver storytelling.
