One of 9,958 produced, next to the last year for the mid-year coupe, and yes, it is a 427 Turbo Jet, four-speed, matching engine numbers, correct from the factory red on red, Corvette! Just serviced by the preeminent Corvette shop in South Florida, Eisman's, this has a few minor upgrades, a warranty replaced M21 gearbox, limited-slip 3:08.1 rear end ( original housing but replaces the 411.1) which includes a BeCool aluminum radiator, well made tubular headers, improved transistorized ignition, with the brakes and suspension recently overhauled. It has knockoffs, raised white letter BF Goodrich tires, teakwood steering wheel, AM-FM radio, side exhausts, and is cosmetically and mechanically ready to be driven and enjoyed! The coupes are presently enjoying a fairly rapid rise in value, undoubtedly due to the design and the fact that so many fewer were produced than the convertible of the same 1963 to 1967 era. Timeless design, fun to drive, and iconic.
