On top of a tree-covered hill in Echo Park, this unique home has seven beautiful blue archways inside. The Greek round arches connect the sunroom, the living room, the kitchen and the bedrooms. A long straight stairway rises 18 steps under and through another evocative archway. A panoramic profusion of wide windows provide lovely views over Silverlake and Beverly Hills and the San Gabriel mountains and Elysian Park. The tree-lined side yard is 150ft long. The backyard is a gorgeous grove under a canopy of nine tall Ash trees with a big Canary-Island Palm tree in the corner. Uniquely, the long redwood porch looks out on an vast world famous glass sculpture known as the Phantasma Gloria 70ft long and 30ft tall. People come to marvel at it from all over the world. Also, beneath the house is a mysterious labyrinth cut deep and roughhewn into the living sandstone bedrock. One can imagine all sorts of scary scenes down there.
