About the Space
Our house, built in the late 1940s, is very typical of parts of Brooklyn and Queens. It has a red brick exterior. The ground floor is a garage and our tenants' 1-bedroom apartment. You walk up 10 steps to reach our two-story residence. There's a front porch. Walking in, there's a living room, dining room, and kitchen, all connected by arches. (There's also a half-bathroom on this floor.) Upstairs, there's a large master bedroom, a nice-sized second bedroom, and a small third bedroom, in addition to a full bathroom. Our house is semi-attached, and previous productions have found it helpful to be able to easily move equipment into our backyard through the side alley. We also have a driveway that can accomodate one vehicle.

We rented Barbara's house for our student film shoot and we had a fantastic experience working with Barbara. Barbara was incredibly responsive and accommodating to our needs, always made herself available to answer questions, which allowed our shoot to go smoothly and this experience enjoyable and seamless. The house was stunning, flexible to dress, and the perfect look for our shoot. I highly recommend this property for anyone in need of a beautiful and accommodating shooting location, and would definitely come back for another shoot!
